WELCOME TO WAKKA WAKKA COUNTRY
On the 21st September 2023, Eidsvold Wakka Wakka people are recognized as the true and rightful custodians of the lands & waters between Gayndah & Cerotodus.
As Wakka Wakka people we’re responsible for the maintenance & protection of culture & care for the land on Country.
We look after and respect our history, our connection to Country and our future as Wakka Wakka People.
We follow in our Ancestors footsteps to carry on caring for our country.
We honour & respect the passing down of our Cultural knowledge through generations to come.
Located in the North Burnett region, we practice & share activities, dance & song. We seek out opportunities to help us maintain our culture for future generations.
